Dear Students, Parents and Families,
Subject: Warm Greetings and Introduction as the New Principal
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am thrilled to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newly appointed Principal of Northam Elementary. As the academic year approaches, I am eager to extend my warmest greetings to all students and parents, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
I am honored and privileged to join the Northam community, which has a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. It is my utmost priority to build upon this foundation and work collaboratively with the staff, students, and parents to further enhance the educational experience at our school.
Allow me to share a little about my background and vision for Northam. I’ve served in the role of administrator for the last 17 years including principal and assistant principal at the elementary and intermediate level. I have a total of 28 years of experience in education which have provided me with the opportunity to work in various school settings and with different communities. I have two adult children who attended and graduated from Rowland Unified Schools. I’ve been married for over 25 years, I’m a big fan of UCLA athletics and all things Disney!
As the new Principal, my aim is to foster an environment that promotes academic excellence and the personal growth of each student. I firmly believe that education is not just about imparting knowledge but also about cultivating curiosity, critical thinking, and resilience. I am dedicated to ensuring that every student at Northam receives a well-rounded education, equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary for success in an ever-evolving world.
I am committed to open lines of communication and strong partnerships with parents and guardians. Your insights, feedback, and involvement will play an integral role in shaping the future of our school. Together, we can provide our students with the best possible education and prepare them for a bright future.
In the coming weeks, I will be organizing meetings and events to introduce myself personally and get to know each of you better. I eagerly anticipate meeting all the students and parents, and I encourage you to attend these events to share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas.

Estimados estudiantes, padres y familias,
Asunto: Saludos cálidos y presentación como nueva directora
Espero que esta carta los encuentre con buena salud y buen humor. Estoy encantada de aprovechar esta oportunidad para presentarme como la recién nombrada directora de la escuela primaria Northam. A medida que se acerca el año académico, estoy ansiosa por extender mis más cálidos saludos a todos los estudiantes y padres, y espero conocerlos a todos y cada uno de ustedes.
Me siento honrado y privilegiado de unirme a la comunidad de Northam, que tiene un fuerte compromiso de aprendizaje enriquecedor e ambiente inclusivo. Es mi máxima prioridad construir sobre esta base y trabajar en colaboración con el personal, los estudiantes y los padres para mejorar aún más la experiencia educativa en nuestra escuela.
Permítanme compartir un poco sobre mis antecedentes y mi visión para Northam. Me he desempeñado en el cargo de administrador durante los últimos 17 años, incluyendo directora y subdirectora en el nivel primario e intermedio. Tengo 28 años de experiencia en educación que me han brindado la oportunidad de trabajar en varias escuelas y con diferentes comunidades. Tengo dos hijos adultos que asistieron y se graduaron de las Escuelas Unificadas de Rowland. He estado casado por más de 25 años, ¡soy un gran admirador del atletismo de UCLA y todo lo relacionado con Disney!
Como nueva directora, mi objetivo es fomentar un ambiente que promueva la excelencia académica y el crecimiento personal de cada estudiante. Creo firmemente que la educación no se trata solo de impartir conocimientos, sino también de cultivar la curiosidad, el pensamiento crítico y la resiliencia. Estoy dedicado a garantizar que todos los estudiantes de Northam reciban una educación integral, equipándolos con las habilidades y la mentalidad necesarias para tener éxito en un mundo en constante evolución.
Estoy comprometido a abrir líneas de comunicación y asociaciones sólidas con padres, tutores y familias. Sus ideas, comentarios y participación jugarán un papel integral en la configuración del futuro de nuestra escuela. Juntos, podemos brindarles a nuestros estudiantes la mejor educación posible y prepararlos para un futuro brillante.
En las próximas semanas estaré organizando reuniones y eventos para presentarme personalmente y conocer mejor a cada uno de ustedes. Espero ansiosamente conocer a todos los estudiantes y padres, y los animo a asistir a estos eventos para compartir sus pensamientos, inquietudes e ideas.
