Several of our 4th, 5th , and 6th grade students competed in the Math Field Day in Glendale. There were many district there including: La Canada, Walnut Valley, Palos Verdes, South Pasadena…..
With great pride I share that NORTHAM 6th GRADERS BROUGHT HOME THE GOLD IN PROBLEM SOLVING…..
All students did really well. I would like to thank Mrs. Salas who made this possible (she brought this idea of competing in Math to my attention), Mr. Buckmier and Mrs. Parel for helping with organizing and preparing students for this event and Mrs. Skokan and Mr. Stahl for volunteering during this event.
It was a very emotional moment for our teachers and parents. We are very proud of our Northam Knights!
